Who We Are
In 1992, our founder Mr. Refki Zogaj started his business activity as an agricultural pharmacy in the city of Suhareka, establishing the “Agricultural Cooperative Agronomi”. The goal was to supply local farmers with agricultural inputs. It’s worth noting that this was one of the first agricultural pharmacies in Kosovo.
After the war, Agronomi had almost completely ceased operations as the premises had been entirely burned down. The business started again from scratch, this time with a wholesale warehouse on the Prizren-Suhareka highway. Partnerships were established with well-known European companies in the field of agricultural inputs such as Bayer, Pinus, Syngenta, Karsia, Unichem, Semenarna Ljubljana, and others.
Our Growth
Agronomi built a new warehouse near the city of Prizren with an area of approximately 1000m², along with dedicated retail locations.
In 2010, Mr. Refki Zogaj acquired the Kosovo branch of Semenarna Ljubljana and established Semenarna SHPK, growing our business family into trading various seeds and fertilizers.
Agronomi built our logistics warehouse with modern capacities of 3000m² in the Industrial Zone, Suhareka — where it all began. The spaces include 500m² of administrative space, 2000m² of storage space equipped with industrial shelving, and storage space with a controlled temperature regime.
At the same time, the company transitioned from an individual private company to a limited liability company under the name AGRONOMI GROUP.
Today
Today, Agronomi Group SHPK, together with our sister company Semenarna SHPK, are among the main suppliers of the Republic of Kosovo market with agricultural reproduction materials such as:
- Various vegetable, flower, and cereal seeds
- Artificial and crystalline fertilizers
- Professional and hobby substrates
- Plant protection products
- Tree, flower, and grape seedlings
We proudly represent renowned companies from Europe, the United States of America, and Asia, such as: Albaugh, Certis Belchim, Globachem, ISK, Karsia, Unichem, General Copper, Hortusi, Seminart, Bc institute Zagreb, Klasmann Deilmann, Tercomposti, Karintia, Panamerican Seeds, Syngenta flowers, Schneider youngplants, Agrotar, Top Onions, Royal ZAP, Picount, Pestila, and others.
Our Team
Today, our companies employ around 20 regular workers and around 20 seasonal workers, including economists, agronomists, warehouse workers, sales agents, and others.
A fleet of 15 transport vehicles, from small to heavy ones, enables us to be flexible for our approximately 500 clients throughout Kosovo.
Our companies have functional warehouses in three key locations in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo: Suhareka, Prizren, and Lipjan.
